Soccer
Here is a quick card for the smART-word challenge, I think this stamp is Lilly of the Valley, he is a real cutey. The card was quick because he was already coloured in and just waiting to be put on a card. I know a lot of people choose their papers then colour their images which is a most sensible thing to do, but I like to sit and colour while I watch a movie and I figure with the amount of paper I have I am sure to have something that matches hehehe.
Be You
Hehehe no posts for ages then 2 in one day, this is for the Stampotique challenge, I seriously love their punky funky stamps. The words on here came from a sheet of scrapbook paper and it says Be You its the very best thing you can be.

One Layer Wednesday 14
Oooh quite excited, this is my first attempt at a One Layer Wednesday, I do love the Simplicity blog and it is jammed packed with beautiful cards. My main problem with this card are the lines of bubbles, I am not 100% convinced they are straight but hey ho it was fun to do.
Yellow Baby and Bunny
This is a cute but not too cutesy baby card that I have made for this weeks StampTV sketch challenge. I love my Copic pens so much, they make colouring a easy as pie. I was watching a movie over the weekend and in one part the leading lady had to decide what she would grab if her apartment was on fire and she had only 60 seconds. I am ashamed to admit it would be my Copic pens. Have great day.

GinaK Guest Designer August
Oooh very excited, its time for a GinaK guest designer to be chosen for August, the challenge is to use a favorite StampTV technique/s along with their stamps. The standard of entries is very high this month but it is such fun to play along that I could not resist, also the Botanicals set arrived in the mail on Friday so its a lovely excuse to play. The difficulty is finding a favorite technique, I think I will be doing a number of cards for this.
First up is this one using the Kissing technique. It is not so easy to see but I had kissed the stamps with the script in the botanicals set.

Lady In Red
Another quick card for a StampTV sketch challenge, I had already coloured this image so just needed to mount it (thanks Kathy for letting me stamp a load of images last week, you are the best). I do think every woman should have a stunning red dress at some point in their lives, I had one at about 18, every time I wore it something happened, I either met someone amazing or had the best evening possible, I still have it packed away in a box somewhere, it wouldn't fit now but I think it would be back in fashion hehehe.

One Layer Christmas Card
Well here it is, this is my first attempt at one layer cards, and I am really pleased with how it turned out. I was very nervous to stamp directly onto the base card and kept stamping on scraps of paper, then I gritted my teeth and did it, I hope you like the end result. This was totally inspired by Simplicity.

Stamp TV Inspire4 Challenge
Here is my entry for the above challenge, I took the colours from the picture but the main design comes from another blog called Simplicity which is jam packed with the most beautiful cards, I have spent most of the weekend dipping in and out of this blog and I will be trying to do some one layer cards (although its kinda scary, I have always stamped and layered, its more forgiving). I hope you like it. Hmm I can't seem to create a link, getting an error message in Dutch which is beyond my abilities to translate so will have to wait for my lovely man to come home and translate it for me. So here is the address for Simplicity http://simplicitybylateblossom.blogspot.com

Stemplestudio Challenge - June
This is my entry for the above challenge, the theme being 'passed' and I hope they will forgive me for using English stamps as I have no Dutch word stamps at the moment, it is very similar to a previous card I posted a few weeks ago, but I have decided to try and use up all my bits and pieces as I generally make enough for 2 or 3 cards just in case but then only make one hehehe.

Favorite Summer Memory
Gina K of StampTV has set this challenge, So, what is your favorite summer memory?
I remember when I was 6 or 7 we went to Jersey, it was one of the hottest summers ever (do they always seem hotter looking back?) We escaped to the air conditioned cinema for a few hours, my dad and brother saw Journey to the center of the Earth or something like that, but mum took me to see Bambi. I did cry but I loved that movie, in fact I love all the Walt Disney movies. Every time I look at Tami Mayberry's set of Fairy Tales stamps the mushroom always makes me think of Disney, so here is my card. I know there was no frog in Bambi but I had to add him in because I love him hehehe.

StampTV Inspire25 challenge
The challenge was for something that makes you think of summer, well I once spent a delightful afternoon with my bff sitting in my garden enjoying the sunshine and a bottle of wine, we then decided to hit the shops hehehe, I bought an orange skirt, the first orange item in my wardrobe and probably the last as well, everytime I think of that day I can't help but smile.

StampTV colour challenge stvcctg13
Here is my entry for the colour challenge, which was burgundy, metallic gold and white. The stamp is from The Greeting Farm and is called Me Time Anya, I got this from Polka Dot Crafts who is run by two lovely ladies who are so generous with their time, inspiration, knowledge etc so please do have a look at their web site. As one of these lovely ladies is my best friend who has stood by me through thick and thin I am completely biased in their favour hehehe.

Card Patterns Sketch 65
Here is my entry for this weeks Card Patterns Sketch, the stamps used are We R Memory Keepers Guitar Hero, i'm not 100% happy with this as I feel it needs something more but nothing I tried look right.
StampTV challenge stvbpsls12
The 'blast from the past' challenge this week on Stamp TV was paper piecing, I used a fabulous stamp from Clarity Stamps, a girl can never have enough shoes right? I hope you like it.

StampTV sketch challenge stvscvd12
This card has been made with the Fairy Tales stamps from StampTV for this weeks sketch challenge. I love this little frog so much. He is such a cute chap. He was inspired by a visit to Blijdorp zoo on Monday, there was one enclosure with very high fences, all I could see were some frogs, it crossed my mind that the frogs couldn't jump that high and how dangerous could they be??? It turns out that the enclosure is for the tigers but they were sleeping in the shade where I could not see them hehehe.

smART-Word Challenge May 2010
The smARt word for May was 'flower', hmmm where to start with creating a card, I have so many different flower stamps that it has taken me ages to decide, but here it is. I stamped the flower 4 times, twice on cream and twice on the patterned paper, I layed the first three, slightly offsetting them, then cut out some of the petals on the last cream layer. A very simple design for the card layout, but that is kind of me all over. Thanks for looking.
