Nearly the same but different

Time for another Stampotique Designers Challenge, this time for a tag. This one is very similar to my previous post as I started them both at the same time and was using almost the same colours, I just needed to finish the second one, which is always my biggest challenge lol to finish things.

SDC214: Early Halloween

Wow it has been a long, long time since I posted anything, I so need to craft more sigh.  Here is my offering for the latest Stampotique Designers Challenge Early Halloween. I used distress inks and pens for all the colouring and a couple of memory box dies for the spider, spiders web and letters.

Live The Life

Happy New Year to everyone, I am kicking off the new year with the One-Layer Simplicity Challenge No. 1 Restocking the shelves, well I am always in need of more cards for the men, (aren't we all lol).

So here is my attempt, I have to say the OH My Goodness how scary is it to just put ink to card, I dithered around for ages, just in case I ruined that piece of white card, hahaha, it was a bit of a revelation and an experience, one which I will attempt to do more often.

This card is totally inspired and to a degree copied from  Marge McGuire in Stampers sampler Take Ten Winter issue, I think it worked well as one layer, I have made it with my partners Birthday in mind so the stamps used have specific meaning, like his age and our new bikes. It also looks a bit more green in real life.

Believe

Hi, this is my first submission for a Sketch Saturday Challenge, this is Week  No 264 with Loves Rubber Stamps as the sponsor.  Happy Birthday to Jen, I have chosen her sketch no 217.

I have had this image stamped and coloured in for ages but had never got round to mounting it, I hope I am not the only one that does that lol.

To be a star

Oh my goodness it has been ages and ages since I have done a Stampotique Challenge but this sketch one really took my fancy.  I had this background in my scraps box, it was made with Dylusion sprays and then a bleach spray over it.   After I stamped the text I stenciled some golden stars around it.  The main star is stamped on gold mirror card which does not show up so well in the photo but in real life adds a bit of blingness. It was quick and easy to make and I think it is pretty, hope you like it as well.

The Stampotique Designer Challenge is SDC52: Oodles of Doodles. This is really so way, way, way out of my comfort zone, I love stamps because I can't draw at all. So this was very simple, some Ranger colour wash for the background, I stamped the tree on paper and coloured with Copics, stamped the little flowers then doodled the birds, border, little bird house and a couple of extra flowers. I don't think I love this card, but at least I tried hehehe.

Wearable Art

Here is my first attempt at Wearable Art, its was a lot of fun and I got very inky, you have got to love grunge paper and I kinda like it. This was for the Stampotique challenge. Thank you to the lovely Nienke for letting me use her head hehehe.
