Oh la la

This weeks colour challenge at StampTV is red, black and white, this was a quick and easy card to do as I love these colours.

Stampoutique Star

Stampoutique Design Challenge 23 is Orange & Turquoise. Now I only have 2 Stampoutique originals stamps at the moment and not a lot of Orange (although now I'm living in Holland I need more orange as it is kind of the national colour)and as I was searching through my stash it seems like I don't have a lot of Turquoise either hehehe so this was going to be a challenge. Then I found an old box of pre-printed cards which I have had for I don't know how many years and low and behold there was one which was Orange & Turquoise (it just goes to show that you should never, never throw anything away hehehe). So here is my offering for this challenge, I hope you like it.

Here is a quick and easy card I have made for this weeks StampTV sketch challenge, I have used my new Stampin Up Flight of the butterfly set, I had been eyeing this set up for well over a year, also its matching punch. I do have about a million other butterfly stamps and was wondering how I could justify buying more but in the end I caved in and I'm soooooo glad I did, I love it :))

A new item

One of the challenges was to use a new item, I think I may have cheated as I used 2 new items on this one, both the stamps were new and unused, I definately have a pirate thing going on at the moment hehehe. Beware there will be more pirates to come in the next few months.

New Years Resolution

My New Years resolution is to blog at least once a week, which in turn means I need to be creating at least once a week which is always a pleasure.

So here goes, StampTV had a new release party last week which means lots of lovely challenges, the first one I did was the resist technique challenge and here is my card using the Stampin Up beware pirate set.
