One Layer Wednesday 14

Oooh quite excited, this is my first attempt at a One Layer Wednesday, I do love the Simplicity blog and it is jammed packed with beautiful cards. My main problem with this card are the lines of bubbles, I am not 100% convinced they are straight but hey ho it was fun to do.

Yellow Baby and Bunny

This is a cute but not too cutesy baby card that I have made for this weeks StampTV sketch challenge. I love my Copic pens so much, they make colouring a easy as pie. I was watching a movie over the weekend and in one part the leading lady had to decide what she would grab if her apartment was on fire and she had only 60 seconds. I am ashamed to admit it would be my Copic pens. Have great day.

Inking a Cuttlebug Folder

Hehehe this is the last one I promise, this background turned out so lovely but unfortunately I have struggled to get a good picture, too much shimmer on everything I think. Also I used a silver pigment ink which looks stunning but takes forever to dry.

Reversed Nestabilities

Here is another card for the GinaK guest designer spot, I used my scor-pal to create the background I also tried the woodgraining technique which I think I will need to practice a bit but I did use the card as the bottom part of the reversed Nestabilities frame.

Baby Wipe Inkpad

Ok here is another card for the GinaK guest designer spot, I used baby wipes as an inkpad for this one. This was the first time I have tried this and really liked the results.

GinaK Guest Designer August

Oooh very excited, its time for a GinaK guest designer to be chosen for August, the challenge is to use a favorite StampTV technique/s along with their stamps. The standard of entries is very high this month but it is such fun to play along that I could not resist, also the Botanicals set arrived in the mail on Friday so its a lovely excuse to play. The difficulty is finding a favorite technique, I think I will be doing a number of cards for this.
First up is this one using the Kissing technique. It is not so easy to see but I had kissed the stamps with the script in the botanicals set.

Lady In Red

Another quick card for a StampTV sketch challenge, I had already coloured this image so just needed to mount it (thanks Kathy for letting me stamp a load of images last week, you are the best). I do think every woman should have a stunning red dress at some point in their lives, I had one at about 18, every time I wore it something happened, I either met someone amazing or had the best evening possible, I still have it packed away in a box somewhere, it wouldn't fit now but I think it would be back in fashion hehehe.
